Suzanne Boy, John Agnew, and John Potanovic have over 55 years of combined legal experience. Prior to forming Boy Agnew Potanovic (BAP), we practiced together as shareholders in the largest firm in Southwest Florida. We formed BAP after recognizing autonomy was needed to best serve our clients. Rethinking the traditional law firm model, BAP is a collaborative, service-oriented firm that aligns our firm’s interests with our clients’ interests on everything from fee structures to business goals.

BAP is the only law firm in Southwest Florida with multiple attorneys who are Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by The Florida Bar. With that unique credential, our primary focus is naturally on the workplace, and we help employers with all of the issues that arise between employers and their employees. We pride ourselves in being proactive in our counseling and our training, with the goal of helping clients avoid claims and lawsuits, but when the need arises, we are also experienced, talented litigators willing to fight for our clients.

We are proud to be part of the fabric of our Southwest Florida community. John Potanovic is a Rotarian and active in his church. He has previously served on many other boards, including HRMA of Southwest Florida, City of Palms Classic, and the YMCA. John Agnew is on the Executive Committees for PACE Center for Girls of Lee County and Abuse Counseling & Treatment (ACT), he is a former President of the Lee County Bar Association, and he is a member-elect of the Board of Governors of The Florida Bar. Suzanne serves on the Board of Directors for SHRM SWFL, the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, and the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce Foundation, and she is on the Board of Trustees for the Canterbury School. She is a former President of SHRM SWFL, and a former Chair of Grievance Committee 20A for The Florida Bar.
