John Agnew serves as the City Attorney for the City of Sanibel and assists the City with everything from serving as board counsel at City Council and Planning Commission meetings to preparation of City Ordinances and Resolutions, advising on personnel issues, preparation or review of City contracts and interlocal agreements, compliance with Florida Sunshine Laws, prosecution of code enforcement violations, and representation in litigation. He also serves as board counsel for the Lee County Mosquito and Hyacinth Control Districts. John Potanovic routinely represents government entities in union matters, including grievances and arbitration.
