Will focuses his practice on litigation, labor and employment law, government law, and workplace investigations. With an extensive background in human resources, Will brings more than a decade of experience handling complex employee and labor relations matters to the team at BAPM.
Before joining the firm, Will served as Director of Compensation & Labor Relations for a local school board, where he managed employment contracts valued at over $600 million and played a key role in collective bargaining with unions representing more than 10,000 employees. He also provided legal and strategic guidance on contract interpretation, dispute resolution, employee compensation, and policy adoption. Most recently, Will oversaw high-profile internal investigations for another local government entity regarding allegations of employee misconduct, including fraud, mismanagement, waste, harassment, and discrimination. He implemented risk-mitigation strategies, oversaw compliance systems, and developed comprehensive training programs for leadership teams across 27 unique business units. He also established an employee centered veteran and military support program.
Will earned his law degree from Florida State University College of Law, where he served as a legal intern with the Children’s Advocacy Clinic and worked for the Florida Department of Education. He received his bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Central Florida, where as a wrestler he was a four-time national qualifier and team captain.
He is admitted to practice law in Florida and is a member of the Labor & Employment and City, County & Local Government Sections of The Florida Bar. He currently serves as the Legislative Affairs Director for SHRM Southwest Florida.
Outside of work, Will enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, and working in his yard. He is an avid podcast listener with a passion for current events, random fun facts, and obscure trivia. Will appreciates dad jokes, clever wordplay, and well-timed malapropisms.
